{"id":24691,"date":"2025-10-31T23:01:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-31T23:01:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/24691\/"},"modified":"2025-10-31T23:01:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-31T23:01:14","slug":"late-queens-corgis-to-remain-in-care-of-andrews-family-buckingham-palace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/24691\/","title":{"rendered":"Late Queen\u2019s corgis to remain in care of Andrew\u2019s family \u2013 Buckingham Palace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The corgis of the late Queen Elizabeth II which were adopted by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson are to remain in the care of their family, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The couple took over the care of Muick and Sandy after the monarch\u2019s death, housing them at Royal Lodge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">But now with the couple\u2019s departure from the Windsor address, speculation had arisen over who would keep the two dogs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Buckingham Palace said in a statement to the PA news agency: \u201cThe corgis will remain with the family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">However, it did not clarify if it would be Andrew, Sarah or Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice who would give them a home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Earlier this year, Sarah claimed that the late Queen communicated to her through the dogs\u2019 barking.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In an address to the Creative Women Platform in London, reported by The Times newspaper, she said: \u201cI have her dogs, I have her corgis.
