A 29-year-old New Jersey man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in New York City, authorities said. <\/p>\n

Jonathan Valentin was shot once in the chest at 12:15 a.m. on the 2200 block of Haviland Avenue in the Bronx, the NYPD said. <\/p>\n

Valentin, of Maywood, was taken in a private vehicle to an area hospital, where he died of his injuries. <\/p>\n

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said. <\/p>\n
