Police announced Thursday his body was found. <\/p>\n<p>BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. \u2014 A man who&#8217;s been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kare11.com\/article\/news\/local\/family-holds-vigil-for-missing-brooklyn-park-man\/89-45353d3e-e1c0-4fe8-8303-ed201ccb0b0d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">missing<\/a> for more than two months has been found dead, and a suspect has been taken into custody.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jontae Lee was reported missing on March 11 from Brooklyn Park. Police say that around midnight, officers had responded to an intersection on a report of a disturbance involving Lee and his friend. Lee had walked away from that scene on foot, but when he never returned home he was reported as missing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Police say they began extensive search efforts in the area with the help of multiple agencies, including the BCA. On May 26, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kare11.com\/article\/news\/local\/brooklyn-park-police-investigating-death\/89-4c4f722e-d87e-408f-b84e-f832c8a5afd1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">drainage pond<\/a> was searched and Lee&#8217;s body was discovered.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, Brooklyn Park Police say the friend from that disturbance call on March 11 was arrested on probable cause of murder.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Jontae Lee was reported missing in March.
