QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 An FDNY firefighter is accused of punching an NYPD officer in the face in a Queens hospital on Wednesday night, authorities said.<\/p>\n
Firefighter Abel Sencion, 34, allegedly attacked the 32-year-old cop at Queens General Hospital on 184th Street just before 10 p.m., according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
More Local News <\/a><\/p>\n The officer was punched in the face and treated for redness and swelling at the same hospital, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n Sencion and the cop do not know each other, and the motive was unclear, according to sources. Both city workers were on duty at the time of the alleged assault.<\/p>\n Sencion was arrested and charged with assault, police said.
