Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the music mogul told TMZ he was suffering from \u201can upper respiratory infection and out of an abundance of caution, he was admitted to the hospital.\u201d  Getty Images for The Recording Academy<\/p>\n<p>Davis\u2019 rep didn\u2019t immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n<p>The 94-year-old record producer\u2019s hospital stay comes just days after he was seen attending the Gordon Parks Foundation Awards Dinner and Auction in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>David, who founded Bad Boy Records with Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs many years ago, has battled health issues in the past.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2021, he was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2021\/02\/23\/clive-davis-diagnosed-with-bells-palsy-postpones-grammys-bash\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">diagnosed with Bell\u2019s Palsy<\/a>, and postponed the second half of his annual pre-Grammys party \u2014 a party that has been held the night before the ceremony every year since 1975.<\/p>\n<p>They also said Davis, pictured above with Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz and Chance The Rapper on May 19, is expected to be released in 24 hours. WireImage<\/p>\n<p>Bell\u2019s Palsy is a serious but temporary condition that causes facial paralysis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is being treated with antibiotics and steroids and is expected to recover within six to eight weeks.
