While the stakes aren\u2019t as high as getting a record deal in Hollywood, the New York City 2-K program<\/a> jingle contest is all the rage right now.<\/p>\n Mayor Zohran Mamdani said hundreds of people submitted their vision for the sound of 2-K in the Big Apple. Now it\u2019s your time to decide who gets the everlasting imprint on universal childcare in New York City<\/a>.<\/p>\n The choices are: Gerald, Allegra, John, Amanda and Miyuki. To vote, click here<\/a>. Voting ends at 10 p.m. on June 3.<\/p>\n All 2,000 2\u2011K seats will shift to full\u2011day programming, a significant change for working families who have relied on half\u2011day schedules.<\/p>\n The default model for 2\u2011K seats across the city will be full\u2011day and full\u2011year, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., 10 hours a day for 260 days a year.
