(WIBW) &#8211; A man was being held on a $50,000 bond on Monday in the Riley County Jail following his Sunday arrest in Manhattan in connection with burglary, violating a protection order and possession of marijuana, officials said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The arrested man was identified as 33-year-old DeVanta DeShaun Walker, 33, of Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Riley County police said the incident occurred around 5:24 p.m. Sunday, with a 33-year-old woman listed as the victim and a known man &#8212; later identified as Walker &#8212; listed as the suspect.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"A man was being held on a $50,000 bond Monday in the Riley County Jail following his Sunday...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/5IT4UZWN7VJQJFPFGKHPLK3AWE.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"550\" \/>A man was being held on a $50,000 bond Monday in the Riley County Jail following his Sunday arrest in Manhattan in connection with burglary, violating a protection order and possession of marijuana, officials said.(WIBW)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers arrested Walker around 5:44 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Yuma Street in Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Walker was subsequently booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with: aggravated burglary; violation of a protection order &#8212; condition of pre-trial orders; violation of a protection order &#8212; stalking-sexual assault-human trafficking; and possession of marijuana.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Walker was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remained in the Riley County Jail on Monday morning, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WIBW.
