STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 A gun was discharged in Tompkinsville early on Saturday morning, according to police.<\/p>\n
The incident where a gun was fired once occurred around 12:54 a.m. on Van Duzer Street near St. Pauls Avenue, according to a spokesman for the NYPD\u2019s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.<\/p>\n
A domestic dispute led to gunfire, according to a source with knowledge of the investigation.<\/p>\n
The suspect fled the location. Ballistic evidence was later recovered at the scene.<\/p>\n
No injuries or property damage were reported.<\/p>\n
A description for the suspect is not available from police. No arrests have been made and the investigation continues, the spokesman said.<\/p>\n
