CLAREMONT, The Bronx (WABC) — Police are searching for a suspect after a 69-year-old man was shot in the Bronx on Monday, according to officials.<\/p>\n

The victim was shot once in the arm and once in the torso shortly before 3:30 p.m. on East 170th Street and Fulton Avenue in the Claremont section, according to police.<\/p>\n

He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he’s expected to recover.<\/p>\n

Police say a male suspect was last seen fleeing from the scene.<\/p>\n

No further details have been provided.<\/p>\n
