{"id":251568,"date":"2026-06-01T23:54:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T23:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/251568\/"},"modified":"2026-06-01T23:54:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T23:54:09","slug":"man-63-shoved-onto-queens-subway-tracks-in-unprovoked-assault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/251568\/","title":{"rendered":"Man, 63, shoved onto Queens subway tracks in unprovoked assault"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 63-year-old straphanger was injured when a man hurled him onto the rails at a Queens subway station in an unprovoked attack, cops said Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect bizarrely shouted, \u201cGet out,\u201d before shoving the victim as he waited on the southbound F train platform at the Parson Boulevard station in Briarwood around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, according to law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>The attack caused the victim to fall to the railbed, where he sustained cuts to his head and nose, and bruising to his arms, said police.<\/p>\n<p>Medics rushed the victim to <a href=\"https:\/\/jamaicahospital.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jamaica Hospital<\/a>, where he is expected to survive.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect fled the station on foot. He is described as being in his late 30s to early 40s, with a medium build and light-colored facial hair. He was last seen wearing a blue sweater, red pants, black and gray winter hat and a blue face mask under his chin.<\/p>\n<p>Police released images of the suspect and video that shows him crawling under a subway turnstile.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to call <a href=\"https:\/\/crimestoppers.nypdonline.org\/?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Crime Stoppers<\/a> at (800) 577-TIPS.
