A former WWE executive\u2019s Prospect Heights townhouse came in from the top rope to claim the priciest contract signed in Brooklyn last week.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The home at 105 St. Marks Avenue was one of 28 contracts signed last week for Brooklyn homes asking at least $2 million, according to Compass\u2019 weekly contracts report. The total is a dip from the 32 contracts signed<\/a> in the previous period, which also notched an average of 46 days on the market, the lowest so far this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kristina Salen, who served as the chief financial officer of WWE for a year and a half beginning in 2020, bought the home with her husband, Daniel Bernstein, for $3.1 million in 2013, according to public records.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last asking $5.9 million, the restored 1873 Italianate brownstone spans 4,000 square feet with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The home has a rear garden with a patio, lawn, and mature planting beds.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The third-floor primary suite has a full-width bedroom and two bedrooms that have been repurposed as an office and a walk-in closet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to working at WWE, Salen has held CFO positions at companies including Etsy and Greenhouse, and currently sits on the board of directors of SiriusXM, according to her LinkedIn.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brown Harris Stevens\u2019 Lee Solomon had the listing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The second most expensive contract signed last week was for a Brooklyn Heights carriage house asking $5.8 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spanning over 2,600 square feet across two floors, the home at 28 College Place has been \u201clargely untouched by modern renovation,\u201d with original details including \u201ctimeworn\u201d hardwood floors, cast-iron radiators and historic hay doors, transoms and shutters, according to StreetEasy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The top floor has three bedrooms, along with kitchen and dining areas, while the bottom floor remains unused.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The home last sold for $2.6 million, according to public records.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Compass\u2019 Jack Elliot Heard, Heema Khedr and Scotty Brand had the listing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last week\u2019s signed contracts were for 13 condos, three co-ops and 12 single-family homes, and for a total contract volume of $86 million. The previous week saw 32 contracts signed for $97 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Homes entering contract last week had a median asking price of $2.7 million, spent an average of 95 days on the market and had an average price per square foot of $1,481.<\/p>\n
