STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Applications for cannabis and liquor sale licenses, as well as new fast-food restaurant construction on Staten Island are among the topics up for discussion at public Community Board meetings this week.<\/p>\n

Community Board 1 will hold a virtual Land Use Public Hearing on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 6:30 p.m.. <\/p>\n
On the agenda is a special permit for the construction of a McDonald\u2019s Restaurant at 5 Wheeler Ave., formerly 2010 Victory Blvd., Meiers Corners, with an accessory drive-through. <\/p>\n
There will also be a discussion about extending the term of a perviously granted variance for an automotive service station at 194 Brighton Ave., New Brighton. The Goodhue Bottalico Service Station is listed as being located at that address.<\/p>\n
