The Broadway League<\/a>\u2019s Black to Broadway initiative, in partnership with Black Theatre United and BTC: Building The Change, will present the sixth annual Broadway Celebrates Juneteenth\u00a0concert June 19.<\/p>\n

The Great Gatsby<\/a>‘s Corbin Bleu<\/a> will host the free outdoor Times Square concert that honors\u00a0Black artistry,
\nculture, and unity. An all-Black cast of Broadway artists will take part in the 90-minute\u00a0event, which begins at 4 PM rain or shine.\u00a0American Sign Language interpretation will be provided.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The concert will feature soon-to-be-announced\u00a0cast members from\u00a0Aladdin<\/a>;
\n & Juliet<\/a>; Buena Vista Social Club<\/a>; CATS: The Jellicle Ball; The
\nGreat Gatsby; Hadestown<\/a>; Hamilton<\/a>; Joe Turner’s Come and Gone<\/a>; The Lost Boys<\/a>; MJ the Musical; Moulin Rouge! The Musical<\/a>; Ragtime<\/a>; SIX: The Musical<\/a>;
\nTitan\u00edque<\/a>; Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)<\/a>;\u00a0and\u00a0Wicked<\/a>\u00a0as well as the upcoming show\u00a0Wanted<\/a>\u00a0and
\n the return of the kids from Young Gifted and Broadway.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 2026 Juneteenth Legacy Award will
\n be presented to Tony nominee,\u00a0Emmy winner, and Kennedy Center Honoree\u00a0Debbie Allen<\/a>, who directed the current Broadway revival of\u00a0Joe Turner’s Come and Gone.\u00a0“Through her extraordinary artistry, visionary
\nleadership, and unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation,” press note state, “Ms. Allen exemplifies the spirit of the Juneteenth Legacy Award and the lasting influence of a true cultural trailblazer.”<\/p>\n

All performances
\n will be accompanied by live music provided with help from The Music Performance Trust Fund and the Film Funds.<\/p>\n

The concert will be held at\u00a0Duffy Square in Times Square, located between 46th and 47th Streets between Broadway and Seventh Avenue.<\/p>\n
