Oh my god, they’re back again! Joey Fatone<\/a> will return to the & Juliet<\/a> Broadway cast this summer, alternating in the role of Lance with original cast member and Tony Award winner Paulo Szot<\/a> between July 2 and September 13.<\/p>\n *NSYNC band member Fatone first performed as Lance for two runs in spring and summer 2025, marking his first return to Broadway in over 20 years. Read our interview with Fatone about starring in & Juliet.<\/a><\/p>\n Szot originated the role when & Juliet opened on Broadway in 2022, departing the show in 2024 but returning for an encore run later that year.<\/p>\n \u201cComing back to & Juliet feels like coming home,\u201d said Fatone in a statement. \u201cI\u2019m excited to jump back in and have some fun with this incredible cast.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cLance is one of the most fun roles I\u2019ve originated and done on Broadway, and coming back to this show feels like revisiting an old friend,\u201d Szot added.<\/p>\n Current cast member James Monroe Iglehart<\/a> plays his final performance as Lance on June 4, and current understudies Reese Britts and Nicholas Edwards will perform in the interim until Fatone’s run begins.<\/p>\n The summer performance schedule is as follows:<\/p>\n June 9-17: Nicholas Edwards The & Juliet Broadway cast also includes Gianna Harris<\/a> as Juliet, Alison Luff<\/a> as Anne, Drew Gehling<\/a> as Shakespeare, Jeannette Bayardelle<\/a> as Angelique, Michael Iv\u00e1n Carrier<\/a> as May, Liam Pearce<\/a> as Romeo, and Nathan Levy<\/a> as Fran\u00e7ois. As previously announced, Chrissy Metz<\/a> will make her Broadway debut as Angelique from June 18 to September 13.<\/p>\n In & Juliet, the end of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy is only the beginning. Juliet decides not to die and instead seek life after Romeo, and her story is set to 30 pop hits from the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Kelly Clarkson, and many more.<\/p>\n
