Just a stone\u2019s throw from Madison Square Garden, at 34th Street and Eighth Avenue, tucked away in the shadow of one of the most beloved spaces in the city, the entrance serving the A, C and E trains has become an unlikely attraction after being painted orange and blue in honor of the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/basketball\/nba\/teams\/new-york-knicks\/18\/\" data-autotag=\"8b753024-9401-4cc8-9e23-5a6cdca0282d\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">New York Knicks<\/a>\u2019 first NBA Finals appearance in 27 years. Half-basketballs painted around the light posts at the top of the steps complete the tribute to the home team.
