The Food and Drug Administration on Monday classified a recall of three Coca-Cola drinks<\/a> as Class II, which is the second-highest risk level.<\/p>\n Thousands of cans of Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and Sprite sold by Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages in Texas were taken out of stores earlier in October. Customers also can contact the brands\u2019 consumer interaction center at 800-438-2653.<\/p>\n The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has updated the risk level for popular rice products that were recently recalled.<\/p>\n The agency recently classified recalled Ben\u2019s Original rice products as a Class II recall on Oct. 20.<\/p>\n A Class II recall is a situation in which use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.<\/p>\n Ben\u2019s Original initiated a voluntary recall on a limited number of Ben\u2019s Original Long Grain White, Whole Grain Brown, and Long Grain & Wild Ready Rice products due to the possible presence of small, naturally occurring stones originating from the rice farm.<\/p>\n These small stones pose possible risk of oral or digestive tract injury if consumed, according to the FDA.<\/p>\n The rice was sold to consumers in nine states, including New Jersey, Wisconsin, Texas, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, and California.<\/p>\n All items have an expiration date of August 2026. They were sold at Target, HEB, Amazon, Piggly Wiggly, and United Markets.<\/p>\n According to the company, this is an isolated issue limited to these batches and no other Ben\u2019s Original products are affected.<\/p>\n The FDA is issuing an alert to not consume this product.<\/p>\n The recall remains ongoing, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration report.<\/p>\n Visit fda.gov<\/a> for more information or concerns.<\/p>\n More than 580,000 bottles of a popular blood pressure medication distributed nationwide have been recalled, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration<\/a>.<\/p>\n The recall involves bottles of Prazosin Hydrochloride, Capsules, USP, 1, 2, and 5 mg, which were distributed by Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc.<\/p>\n The bottles contain anywhere from 100, 250, 500, and 1,000 capsules.<\/p>\n The medication contains nitrosamine impurities, known as \u201cN-nitroso Prazosin impurity C\u201d that were above acceptable intake limits. Exposure to this product could lead to severe adverse health consequences.<\/p>\n Nitrosamines are a class of known carcinogens and do not cause harm when ingested a tlow levels.
