Frogmore Cottage, the house that was gifted to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for their wedding is slated to go through another renovation, but this time many of the changes they made, amounting to almost 3 million in 2018 might be removed.<\/p>\n
With all this in the rearview mirror The Royalist Podcast host Tom Sykes has come forward with the claim that the Sussexes were evicted, because the Firm was left with no choice but to act.<\/p>\n
But what he said next sparked the conversation, and it was that had the Sussexes not gone against the Firm, or engaged in anti-royal propaganda, there was a high chance that they would still be able to use the Cottage when they\u2019d visit from the US.<\/p>\n
He was also quoted saying, \u201chad they left and not then spent the next five years chucking rocks at the institution, trying to smash, burn everything down, burn every bridge, I think they would have probably been allowed to keep Frogmore Cottage. [If] they hadn\u2019t gone public with all their resentments, they hadn\u2019t made all the films, they hadn\u2019t written the books, they hadn\u2019t called the royal family racist…\u201d<\/p>\n
But that is not where the conversation ended because he also made a shocking claim a bit further into his conversation as well. According to The Daily Beast Mr Sykes added, \u201cwhat the Sussex side are telling me now is that King Charles waited until after the Queen had died to kick Harry out. And they say that the Queen would have blocked it because it was her wedding gift to them.\u201d<\/p>\n
He even agreed to this and explained that that the reason he believes Harry and Meghan are right about this is because \u201cif there was one thing the Queen hated, it was confrontation.\u201d<\/p>\n
Before concluding the author also said, \u201cThe Sussexes are absolutely right in saying that she would never have allowed them to be kicked out, because she just wouldn\u2019t have had the stomach for that particular fight, I don\u2019t think. At the same time, Harry was incredibly naive to think that the royal family would not pull every lever they could, yes, to punish him, or alternatively, to force him into exile.
