An outdoor kickoff party under the Long Island skies took place at the Transfiguration of Christ Church, Mattituck, on the evening of Sunday, May 24. The social event took place under the Church backyard canopy at 1950 Breakwater Rd. A barbecue with hamburgers and hot dogs was served. Children were playing with happiness in a family setting. Tom and Dean Acoustic Sounds provided great entertainment. Kali Parea, Great Company, made everyone happy. Father Andrew Cadieux welcomed all with a big smile. “We have a newly renovated Church Hall. This Hall represents more than just a building. It is a place where fellowship will grow. Memories will be made for generations.”

The annual church festival is being planned. “We are organizing for our festival, Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27.
