Krasdale Foods has selected a warehouse management system from Made4net to modernize distribution operations at its primary facility in the Bronx, New York.<\/p>\n
Made4Net\u2019s WarehouseExpert WMS will replace Krasdale<\/a>\u2019s current warehouse and order management technology. The Made4net<\/a> solution is expected to provide greater operational visibility, improved inventory control and a scalable foundation for future automation.<\/p>\n Krasdale\u2019s 330,000\u2011square\u2011foot distribution center in the Bronx supplies grocery, general merchandise, and health and beauty products to more than 3,000 independent retail locations in the metro New York region. Banners include C\u2011Town, Bravo, Aim, Market Fresh, Shop Smart Food Markets and Stop 1 Food Mart.<\/p>\n Taking care of its \u2018backbone\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cOur distribution center is the backbone of everything we do for our retail partners,\u201d said Gus Lebiak, president and COO of Krasdale Foods, a family\u2011owned company that has served independent grocers for 118 years.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat stood out about Made4net wasn\u2019t just the software; it was their understanding of grocery distribution. That level of industry expertise gave us confidence this solution would work in practice, not just on paper.\u201d<\/p>\n A real-time solution<\/p>\n WarehouseExpert provides real\u2011time warehouse visibility, intelligent task management, enhanced inventory rotation controls (FIFO and FEFO), radio\u2011frequency and voice\u2011directed workflows, dynamic slotting and automated replenishment triggering.
