\n\tSaturday Night Live<\/a> kicked off its cold open with a mock New York City mayoral debate that was crashed by President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

\n\tMiles Teller<\/a>, who served as the night\u2019s host, portrayed candidate Andrew Cuomo. While introducing himself, the Teller\u2019s Cuomo introduced himself as a \u201cborn, bred New Yorker\u201d who \u201cknows this city like the back of a woman\u2019s back.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tSpecial guest Ramy Youssef was next introduced as Zohran Mamdani who said he was \u201chappy to be here, and I\u2019m ready to spend the next hour hearing my opponents pronounce my name in ways you couldn\u2019t begin to imagine.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd I know some of you are out there scared of the idea of a young socialist Muslim mayor,\u201d he said, continuing, \u201cSo allow me to put you at ease by smiling after every answer in a way that physically hurts my face.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFinally, Shane Gillis stepped into the roles of Curtis Sliwa, which led them into the crux of the debate. The faux candidates answered various questions, including why they would \u201cwant the worst job in the world,\u201d their go-to bagel orders and what they\u2019d say to \u201cundecided voters.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tTowards the end of their debate, James Austin Johnson\u2019s Trump made his grand appearance when the candidates where asked what the \u201cbiggest problem\u201d they\u2019d have to tackle as mayor, where he joked that he might as well become the next mayor of New York. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s me!\u201d Johnson\u2019s Trump exclaimed. \u201cYes, they can pretend this election is about housing and taxes, but we all know it\u2019s about me, right?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSaturday night marked the second time Teller has served as an SNL<\/a> host, where he was joined by Brandi Carlile as musical guest. His most recent appearance on the late night show was on Oct. 1, 2022, making it exactly three years and one month since his debut on the series.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Top Gun: Maverick star joins at the fourth host of season 51<\/a>. He\u2019ll be followed by Nikki Glaser and Glen Powell as the next string of hosts in the next coming weeks. Sombr and Olivia Dean will join as musical guests on Nov. 8 and 15, respectively. Earlier this season, Bad Bunny<\/a>, Amy Poehler<\/a> and Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> took turns as hosts. <\/p>\n
