(WIBW) &#8211; A Manhattan man was issued a citation Thursday following a vehicle-bicycle collision. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the Riley County Police Department, officers responded to a report of an injury accident around 10:45 a.m. on Thursday near North Juliette Avenue and Leavenworth Street. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">When officers arrived, they learned that a 2015 Toyota Prius had struck a bicycle in the intersection. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The bicyclist, identified as Christopher Korte, 27, of Manhattan, was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Toyota driver, identified as Zainab Shinwari, 36, of Manhattan, was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WIBW.
