A report of a fire on Sunday, June 7, at a hospital in Norwood was unfounded, according to the FDNY.<\/p>\n

Following the circulation of a social post advising of the fire, Norwood News reached out to the FDNY and a department spokesperson said the fire department received a call at 11.52 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a fire at\u00a03424 Kossuth Avenue, the address for NYC Health + Hospitals\/North Central Bronx, located between DeKalb Avenue and East 210th Street.<\/p>\n
According to the spokesperson, emergency units investigated the incident and found no condition at the location and it was deemed to be \u201can unwarranted alarm\u201d and the incident was closed at 12.04.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n As reported<\/a>, the cause of the fire at 660 East 187th Street in Belmont on April 21 was deemed to be accidental.
