When the flames extended through the roof, a third alarm was transmitted, bringing 63 units with 192 firefighters and EMS personnel to the scene between Vernon Boulevard and 11th Street.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-612964\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/firefighters-hurt-fire-hunters-point02.jpg\" alt=\"Four firefighters were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. \" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"  \/>Four firefighters were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
