Created by\u00a0Eugene Pack and co-developed with Dayle Reyfel, and produced by screen star Rita Wilson, each night&#8217;s cast and material will be different. Slated to appear during the run are Paula Abdul, Brooke Adams, Pamela Adlon, Jason Alexander, anny Burstein, Bob Costas, Katie Couric, and many, many more.<\/p>\n<p>Paranormal Activity\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Broadway, brace yourselves for jump scares: Paranormal Activity &#8211; A New Story Live on Broadway is about to thrill audiences. Transferring from sold-out runs from London to Los Angeles, Felix Barrett will direct the stage adaptation of the 2007 screen horror favorite, penned by Levi Holloway.\u00a0A notorious title in the contemporary horror film genre, Paranormal Activity follows couple Katie and Micah, soon after they move to a suburban home. Katie believes that a nefarious presence has been haunting her since she was a child, so the pair set up a camera in their bedroom to catch any strange activity that occurs while they sleep\u2014cue the demon noises.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Paranormal Activity\u00a0will begin performances at\u00a0the August Wilson Theatre August 14, with an official opening night set for September 15.<\/p>\n<p>School\u00a0Girls; Or, The\u00a0African Mean Girls Play<\/p>\n<p>Jocelyn Bioh&#8217;s comedy will make its anticipated Broadway premiere through\u00a0Manhattan Theatre Club. The\u00a0Jaja&#8217;s\u00a0African Hair\u00a0Braiding\u00a0playwright has reunited with director Whitney White for the work, which\u00a0follows a group of high school girls at\u00a0Ghana&#8217;s Aburi Girls Boarding School  fixated on competing in an upcoming beauty pageant, when a transfer student from America arrives and makes the competition more complex. The work made its world premiere Off-Broadway via MCC in 2017, and has since become something of a regional theatre darling. <\/p>\n<p>School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play\u00a0will begin performances at the\u00a0Samuel J. Friedman Theatre\u00a0September 8.\u00a0An official opening night will be set at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Julia-Louis-Dreyfus-Joe-Keery-Allison-Janey-Ed-Harris-Lily-Rabe-and-John-Benjamin-Hickey.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Joe Keery, Allison Janey, Ed Harris, Lily Rabe, and John Benjamin Hickey<\/p>\n<p>    <a data-crosslink=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/playbill.com\/production\/other-desert-cities-broadway-hudson-theatre-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Other Desert Cities<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A star-studded revival\u00a0of Jon Robin Baitz&#8217;s Tony-winning play Other Desert Cities\u00a0will bring forth the Broadway debut of\u00a011-time Emmy winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who will play Polly opposite Ed Harris as Lyman, Oscar winner Allison Janney as Silda, Joe Keery (Stranger Things) as Trip, and Lily Rabe as Brooke.\u00a0The play\u2014which premiered Off-Broadway via Lincoln Center Theater in 2011 before transferring to Broadway the same year\u2014centers on a writer in a family with opposing political views who is threatening to publish a tell-all memoir exposing a long-held family secret. The work was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prizer for Drama.<\/p>\n<p>Other Desert Cities\u00a0will begin performances at the Hudson Theatre September 29 ahead of an October 18 opening night.<\/p>\n<p><a data-crosslink=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/playbill.com\/production\/wanted-broadway-james-earl-jones-theatre-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wanted<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wanted, formerly known as Gun &amp; Powder, will be the first new musical\u00a0featured in the\u00a02026-2027 season.\u00a0Solea Pfeiffer (Hadestown, Almost Famous, Moulin Rouge! The Musical) and Liisi LaFontaine (West End&#8217;s Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Dreamgirls) will star as Mary and Martha Clarke, respectively.\u00a0It is based on the true story of\u00a0Black twin sisters who passed as white in 1893 Texas.\u00a0Wanted features a book and lyrics by Angelica Ch\u00e9ri (descendant of the Sisters Clarke), music by Ross Baum, and choreography by Chelsey Arce (Sweeney Todd revival, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child).\u00a0Obie winner and Tony nominee Stevie Walker-Webb is directing.<\/p>\n<p>Wanted\u00a0will begin previews at the Jones Theatre October 15 prior to an official opening November 8.<\/p>\n<p>The Fantasticks<\/p>\n<p>Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt&#8217;s record-breaking Off-Broadway musical\u00a0The Fantasticks\u00a0will finally make its way to Broadway in a new version directed and choreographed\u00a0 by Tony winner Christopher Gattelli (Schmigadoon!, Death Becomes Her, Newsies).\u00a0The\u00a0production reimagines the central romantic pair\u2014traditionally Matt and Luisa\u2014as a same-sex pair Matt and Lewis, reinterpreting the story\u2019s allegory of love, longing, and reconciliation through a gay lens. The show\u2019s original pair of fathers, who secretly orchestrate the clandestine love affair between their children, will now be mothers.<\/p>\n<p>The Fantasticks\u00a0will begin performances at the Hayes October 22, with opening night set for November 16.<\/p>\n<p><a data-crosslink=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/playbill.com\/production\/much-ado-about-nothing-broadway-winter-garden-theatre-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Much Ado About Nothing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a minute since a Shakespeare comedy was featured on a Broadway stage, but it will have been worth the wait to see\u00a0Marvel\u00a0megastars Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell onstage in the transfer of this West End production from\u00a0Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Hiddleston will play\u00a0Benedick alongside Atwell as Beatrice.\u00a0The classic tale of rivalry-turned-romance will be helmed by Tony winning director-producer Jamie Lloyd (Sunset Blvd). Esparza will be joined onstage by Jeremy Kushnier and Joy Woods.\u00a0Michael Mayer is directing.\u00a0The musical centers on the historical scientist Galileo Galilei, a pioneering astronomer widely considered to be the father of modern science, and the pioneer of the scientific method.\u00a0The work\u00a0made its world premiere in 2024 at Berkeley Rep. Both Esparza and Kushnier (as Bishop Maffeo Barberini) will be reprising their performances from that run. <\/p>\n<p>Galileo\u00a0will begin performances at the Shubert Theatre November 10 ahead of a December 6 opening night.<\/p>\n<p><a data-crosslink=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/playbill.com\/production\/inter-alia-broadway-music-box-theatre-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Inter Alia<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Rosamund Pike will lead the newest play from\u00a0Prima Facie\u00a0playwright Suzie Miller, who has reunited with director Justin Martin for the new drama\u00a0about a London Crown Court judge who must hold her family together when an unthinkable event rocks their life. Pike reprises her role from\u00a0the National Theatre and West End productions.\u00a0A filmed performance from the first London run has been broadcast globally via the National&#8217;s NTLive series.<\/p>\n<p>Inter Alia will begin performances November 10 at the Music Box Theatre, with an official opening night on December 1.<\/p>\n<p>Evita\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s gonna be a part of the Big Apple! Director Jamie Lloyd&#8217;s recent London revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice&#8217;s Evita will make a Broadway transfer in the new year, with Rachel Zegler reprising her\u00a0Olivier Award-winning performance as\u00a0Eva Per\u00f3n.\u00a0The musical follows Lloyd&#8217;s Tony-winning London and Broadway revival of Lloyd Webber&#8217;s Sunset Boulevard, which got audiences talking with a minimalist take on the traditionally opulent musical. His Evita was first staged in 2019 at Regent&#8217;s Park Open Air Theatre, coming to London&#8217;s West End in a revised take last year. One of Lloyd Webber&#8217;s most mainstream-acclaimed musicals,\u00a0Evita\u00a0features\u00a0numerous songs that have now become standards like &#8220;Don&#8217;t Cry For Me Argentina,&#8221; &#8220;Buenos Aires,&#8221; and &#8220;Rainbow High.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Evita\u00a0will begin performances\u00a0at the Winter Garden Theatre\u00a0February 27, 2027, with an official opening night on\u00a0March 25, 2027.<\/p>\n<p><a data-crosslink=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/playbill.com\/production\/gloria-broadway-helen-hayes-theater-2027\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gloria<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Branden Jacobs-Jenkins&#8217;s Pulitzer Prize finalist comedy will be produced by Second Stage in the spring, with\u00a0Evan Cabnet directing. Producer Sonia Friedman has said that the musical about Britain&#8217;s most beloved bear will make his Broadway debut\u00a0spring 2027. Get those marmalade sandwiches ready!<\/p>\n<p>The Imaginary Invalid\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A new adaptation of Moli\u00e8re&#8217;s classic comedy will be staged by director\u00a0Brandon J. Dirden. The production will star Bill Irwin, who has adapted the work about\u00a0a rich hypochondriac and the scheming people around him.<\/p>\n<p>The Imaginary Invalid\u00a0has been announced for Fall 2026, with dates TBA at the\u00a0Todd Haimes Theatre.<\/p>\n<p>860<\/p>\n<p>Billy Crystal will return to Broadway in his new autobiographical solo show\u00a0centered around the house his family lost in the Palisades fire that ravaged Southern Californian in early 2025. Scott Ellis will be directing the work, which\u00a0draws its title from the address of Crystal&#8217;s longtime home.<\/p>\n<p>860\u00a0has been announced for Fall 2026, with dates\u00a0TBA.<\/p>\n<p>Dreamgirls<\/p>\n<p>A long-awaited revival of\u00a0Dreamgirls\u00a0will finally take the stage with an all-new production directed by\u00a0Camille A. Brown. One of Broadway&#8217;s most beloved titles\u2014which was adapted into a hit 2006 film\u2014the musical\u00a0follows the show business story of a Black &#8217;60s girl group, somewhat modeled on The Supremes, The Shirelles, and others.\u00a0Featuring music by Henry Krieger and lyrics and a book by Tom Eyen, Dreamgirls contains hit songs such as\u00a0&#8220;And I Am Telling You (I&#8217;m Not Going),&#8221; &#8220;One Night Only,&#8221;\u00a0and &#8220;I Am Changing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dreamgirls\u00a0has been announced for Fall 2026, with dates TBA.<\/p>\n<p>Awake and Sing!<\/p>\n<p>Tyne Rafaeli will direct\u00a0a\u00a0revival of Clifford Odets&#8217;s landmark play about a Depression-era Brooklyn family, starring\u00a0Danny Burstein, Jessica Hecht, and Jeremy Shamos.<\/p>\n<p>Awake and Sing!\u00a0has been announced for December 2026, with dates TBA at the\u00a0Samuel J. Bartlett Sher will direct the production, which will have three performers portraying three stages of Parton&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p>Dolly: An Original Musical has been announced for 2026, with dates TBA.<\/p>\n<p>Private Lives<\/p>\n<p>No\u00ebl Coward&#8217;s classic 1931 comedy has been announced for a revival on Broadway in 2026,\u00a0produced by Jeffrey Richards, Playful Productions, Rebecca Gold, and M\/B\/P Productions, though any further information has yet to to be revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Mix and Master<\/p>\n<p>Tony winners Kara Young (Proof,\u00a0Purlie Victorious)\u00a0and Ruben Santiago-Hudson (Joe Turner&#8217;s Come and Gone) return to Broadway in Mix and Master,\u00a0a new play from\u00a0Dominique Morisseau (Skeleton Crew, Ain&#8217;t Too Proud). It follows a\u00a0rising DJ&#8217;s efforts to save the last record shop in Brooklyn. Kamilah Forbes will direct.\u00a0Mix and Master\u00a0will bow at the Todd Haimes Theatre in Winter 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The Full\u00a0Monty<\/p>\n<p>Last seen on Broadway in 2002, the hit musical comedy\u00a0The Full Monty\u00a0will return in the new year, directed by\u00a0Leigh Silverman.\u00a0With a book by McNally and music and lyrics by Yazbek, the musical comedy received 10 Tony nominations in 2001 for its heartfelt-yet-hilarious depiction of a group of out-of-work Buffalo men who turn to full-frontal striptease to make ends meet.<\/p>\n<p>The Full Monty\u00a0has been announced for Spring 2027,\u00a0with dates TBA at the\u00a0Todd Haimes Theatre.<\/p>\n<p>Montauk<\/p>\n<p>Laura Linney will lead\u00a0David Hare&#8217;s\u00a0play next spring about two artists whose lives are entangled both professionally and romantically.\u00a0Daniel Sullivan will direct the work, making its world premiere.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Montauk\u00a0has been announced for Spring 2027, with dates TBA at the\u00a0Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.<\/p>\n<p>Cat on a Hot Tin Roof<\/p>\n<p>Tennessee Williams&#8217; Pulitzer Prize-winning classic will return to Broadway in a new production directed by Sam Gold.
