What began more than 25 years ago as a weekly lunch gathering has evolved into a vibrant and inclusive community of artists exhibiting throughout the tristate area and online. Through ongoing collaboration, discussion, and constructive critique, members continue to develop their artistic practices while inspiring one another creatively.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition showcases the diverse talents and perspectives of artists whose dedication to creative expression continues well into retirement. Working across photography, painting, ceramics, sculpture, glass, and mixed media, the featured artists demonstrate that artistic growth and innovation have no age limit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe IRVA exhibition illustrates that art is a lifelong endeavor. After retirement through art, these artists built friendships, continued learning and developed deeper introspection into the process. I feel I have so much to learn from this exhibit and the artists in it,\u201d offered Nancy Mazzei, Interim Executive Director of the Pelham Art Center.<\/p>\n<p>The public is invited to attend the exhibition\u2019s opening reception on Thursday, June 11, from 6 PM to 8 PM.
