The FDNY says the crash is part of a police investigation.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Paramedics took the victim to NYU Langone Hospital\u2013Brooklyn, where he is expected to recover, according to the NYPD. <\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police could not confirm the connection between the crash and the gunfire as of Monday evening.
