{"id":260777,"date":"2026-06-09T17:16:52","date_gmt":"2026-06-09T17:16:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/260777\/"},"modified":"2026-06-09T17:16:52","modified_gmt":"2026-06-09T17:16:52","slug":"whole-foods-expands-with-new-brooklyn-locations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/260777\/","title":{"rendered":"Whole Foods Expands With New Brooklyn Locations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The national grocery chain is opening stores in Bushwick and Cobble Hill. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wholefoodsmarket.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Whole Foods<\/a> will open two new locations in Brooklyn as part of an expansion phase in the borough.<\/p>\n<p>The Amazon-owned\u00a0grocer will open a store on\u00a01224 Flushing Ave. in Bushwick, and another at 182 Smith St. in Cobble Hill, according to a\u00a0Whole Foods Market spokesperson.<\/p>\n<p>The Bushwick location is about 10,000-square-feet, and will likely turn into the chain&#8217;s smaller grocery concept called Market Daily Shop, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crainsnewyork.com\/real-estate\/commercial\/cny-bushwick-whole-foods-20260605\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Crain&#8217;s New York Business.<\/a> The Cobble Hill location will likely be the same, as it takes over a former shuttered Rite Aid, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crainsnewyork.com\/real-estate\/commercial\/cny-whole-foods-lease-182-smith-street-20260602\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">news site reported<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The retailer also opened a Whole Foods Market Daily Shop in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wholefoodsmarket.com\/stores\/grandstreet\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Williamsburg<\/a> in February.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Information about when the two new locations will open were not immediately available.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"screen-shot-2026-06-09-at-113629-am\" id=\"file-4415050\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/screen-shot-2026-06-09-at-113629-am.png;w=960.png\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\n.
