UPPER EAST SIDE, NY \u2014 Police were searching Monday for two suspects who robbed a bodega at knifepoint on the Upper East Side, New York City Police Department officials said. <\/p>\n

According to the NYPD, the two suspects entered 1391 Convenience, located at 1391 Second Ave., near East 73rd Street, on June 1 at 9:12 p.m. <\/p>\n

Once inside, the two suspects, each displaying a knife, threatened a 21-year-old employee and removed approximately $1,900 from behind the counter, police said.<\/p>\n

Then, the two suspects ran off, police said. <\/p>\n

Police are investigating the incident and have released surveillance photos of the two suspects. No arrests have been made yet, police said. <\/p>\n

Police said anyone with information regarding the robbery can call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). <\/p>\n
