A Hollywood producer has been sentenced in connection with two overdose deaths, according to a recent report from ABC7 News<\/a>. <\/p>\n

David Brian Pearce, 43, was sentenced on Wednesday, Oct. 30 to 146 years to life in prison over the deaths of Christy Giles, 24, and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26, according to the report.<\/p>\n

Pearce, a Hollywood producer, had been convicted of all charges faced in this case, including two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of the two women. <\/p>\n

He was also convicted of rape and other sexual assaults against seven different women between 2007 and 2021, as stated in a release by the Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

A jury was previously unable to reach a decision, however, on Brandt Walter Osborn, 45, an actor and former Staten Islander<\/a> who was charged as an accessory. <\/p>\n

Back in 2021, Osborn was charged with two counts of accessory after the fact in the deaths of Giles and Cabrales-Arzola.<\/p>\n

On Nov. 13, 2021, at approximately 3 a.m., Los Angeles prosecutors allege Osborn, Pearce, and Michael Ansbach met Giles and Cabrales-Arzola at a party in East Los Angeles. A couple of hours later, the two women accompanied the men back to Pearce\u2019s Beverly Hills apartment.<\/p>\n

There, prosecutors say Pearce provided Giles, Cabrales-Arzola and Ansbach with gamma-hydroxybutyrate, also known as GHB, and fentanyl, resulting in the fatal overdoses of both women.<\/p>\n

Police said they believed the victims were given the drugs and overdosed in a residence on the 8600 block of Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles District Attorney\u2019s Office stated that within about 35 minutes of their arrival, Cabrales-Arzola called a ride-share service to leave the location, but neither woman left the scene until Pearce lifted Giles out of the apartment approximately 11 hours later. Cabrales-Arzola was carried out about an hour and a half after Giles, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n

According to the LA District Attorney\u2019s office, Pearce dropped each woman off at a different hospital.<\/p>\n

Giles was deceased when she was dropped off; Cabrales-Arzola was resuscitated, but died 11 days later, just a day short of what would have been her 27th birthday, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

While the women were being dropped off, prosecutors alleged that Osborn accompanied Pearce in a Toyota Prius without license plates to the hospitals, as detailed in a report by Eyewitness News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Court case information shows that Osborn is out on $40,000 bail. A source previously told the Advance\/SILive.com that Osborn had recently been working as a bartender on Staten Island.<\/p>\n

A hung jury could not reach a decision on Osborn and Los Angeles prosecutors previously considered retrying the case.<\/p>\n

Michael Artan, Osborn\u2019s attorney, told the Advance\/SILive.com in early July that it is still \u201cunclear\u201d whether there will be a retrial as discussions with the prosecution were ongoing. He declined to provide further comment on the matter.<\/p>\n

According to his IMDb page, Osborn was born on Staten Island<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He attended Curtis High School where he performed with the \u201cCurtis Players\u201d in several productions.<\/p>\n

As a teen, he worked as a print model for various illustrations.<\/p>\n

Osborn later attended SUNY Albany and the College of Staten Island where he graduated with a communications degree, according to his IMDb page.<\/p>\n

While in college, Osborn worked as an intern at K-ROCK radio on the \u201cHoward Stern Show.\u201d<\/p>\n
