Together, they aim to strip away the barriers between audiences and fresh, Original Theatre. In contrast to the typical theatrical process of workshopping a play behind closed doors before the public is able to see a performance, D3C has a “one-and-done” process.

In the week leading up to a D3C performance, actors come together for just one rehearsal, lending an immediacy to the work that is often lost during a traditional development period. This also allows for the participation of a diverse and ever-growing group of artists who donate their time and talent to their performances.

This 15th D3C season is the company’s third year in residency with bkONE at the Tom Kane Theatre after over a decade of “punk rock basement theatre” performances presented in non-traditional spaces.

🎭 NEW!
