{"id":261971,"date":"2026-06-10T15:12:44","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T15:12:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/261971\/"},"modified":"2026-06-10T15:12:44","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T15:12:44","slug":"driver-plows-into-manhattan-beach-laundromat-killing-customer-inside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/261971\/","title":{"rendered":"Driver plows into Manhattan Beach laundromat, killing customer inside"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A woman was killed Tuesday night after a driver drove into a laundromat in Manhattan Beach, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>Manhattan Beach police responded to a crash around 6 p.m. at Suds &amp; Duds Coin Laundry on Aviation Boulevard, according to authorities. <\/p>\n<p>A person doing their laundry inside the laundromat was fatally struck by a car that smashed through the business\u2019s glass storefront, according to <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/news\/local\/manhattan-beach-laundromat-crash\/3902100\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">NBC Los Angeles<\/a>. The vehicle had driven over the sidewalk and crashed for unknown reasons.
