(KLTV) \u2014 Former Van Vandal Hoss Brewer retired all three baserunners he faced in one inning of work in Brooklyn\u2019s 3-0 loss to Frederick on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The 25-year-old right-hander entered the game in the ninth inning, got the first batter to ground out and struck out the next two.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Through 22 innings this season, Brewer (1-3) has 23 strikeouts and a 4.09 ERA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Brooklyn (22-35) is in fifth place in its division.
