‘Baseball Queen’ returns for Season 2.

On the 10th, the Channel A variety program ‘Baseball Queen 2’ released its second teaser video.

The released second teaser captures the players’ intensified determination, burning hotter than ever. In the teaser, players who returned to their main professions during their off-season expressed a shared sentiment: “We miss baseball and want to run on the field again as soon as possible.” Upon finally making their comeback on the ground, they displayed upgraded capabilities.

First, Song Ah, the “trusted batter” and former tennis player, focused on pitcher training during the off-season, resulting in her taking the mound as a “starting pitcher.” Her improved control was so impressive that even caster Lee Gwang-yong exclaimed, “Your pitching has really improved!” Ayaka, an all-around player and former softball player, also dedicated herself to pitcher training during the off-season and calmly recorded a strikeout with a swing-and-miss during the actual game.

Positive changes are also evident in defense. Kim Seong-yeon, the “Judo Legend” and third baseman, who stated, “We will show you an even stronger performance,” quickly fielded a ground ball at the third-base hot corner and successfully executed a “clothesline throw” to first base.

Park Ha-yun, a former handball player, moved from first base to right field this season, showcasing hustle plays including diving catches in the outfield. Choo Shin-soo, the manager, repeatedly exclaimed “Wow!” at Park Ha-yun’s “possession-level defense,” while the commentators also sent out a “shout-out,” saying, “The Black Queens’ defense has changed so much!”

Along with this, Lee Su-yeon, a former rowing athlete, revealed her ambition to become the “batting champion” this season and then delivered powerful extra-base hits and her signature clean base-running, successfully recording “3 RBIs and a triple.” Finally, Kim On-a, the captain of the Black Queens and a “Handball Legend,” conveyed her firm resolve: “We will win every game this season.”

Meanwhile, ‘Baseball Queen,’ launched last November, is a sports variety show that sparked a women’s baseball phenomenon by showcasing the dazzling growth of the Black Queens, a team of sports legends from various disciplines.
