Actress and devoted Knicks fan Mariska Hargitay sprinted 10 blocks from her \u201cEvery Brilliant Thing\u201d performance on Broadway to make what turned out to be an epic Knicks NBA Playoffs Game 4<\/a> Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI took four minutes off the running time of my show, and I knew the traffic would be crazy, so I sprinted from the Hudson Theater on 44th and 6th to MSG<\/a>,\u201d she told The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday. \u201cBut I knew everything was going to be all right, because I was wearing my Jalen Brunson Kobe 5 Protos that Jalen gave me a few months ago. But I\u2019m not gonna lie, the 10-block sprint after a two-show day was no joke.\u201d<\/p>\n

The longstanding Knicks superfan has developed a bond with Brunson, and they are known for their on-court postgame hugs<\/a>. Their friendship is the envy of the team\u2019s celebrity fans<\/a>, especially Ben Stiller. Brunson, for his part, says streaming \u201cSVU\u201d episodes is part of his pregame ritual and has described being starstruck when he first met the real-life Olivia Benson.<\/p>\n

Hargitay seemed to have recovered from the run by the time the Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs, 107-106,<\/a> after managing to close a 29-point gap<\/a>, because she bolted from her courtside seat<\/a> in \u201ccelebrity row<\/a>\u201d seconds after OG Anunoby tapped the ball into the net<\/a> for the game-winning point with 1.2 seconds to spare.<\/p>\n

Afterward she was seen wandering amid the hubbub<\/a>, alternately clutching her heart and covering her shocked face with her hands, in a video that ESPN captioned, \u201cSomeone check on Mariska\u2019s heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

The game was in fact so epic that the \u201cLaw & Order: SVU\u201d star said it may well have eclipsed her wedding night<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love my husband, and our wedding night was great and all, but I think it might have been the greatest night of my life,\u201d Hargitay told The Hollywood Reporter. \u201cThe game was so brutal, down 29 at the half, but I\u2019m telling you, to watch this team fight and claw their way back \u2014 to see that look in Jalen\u2019s eyes \u2014 there are just endless life lessons in there. And then OG comes flying in, his orange and blue cape fluttering behind him, and then it\u2019s just pandemonium. It\u2019ll get replayed again and again, not just as an epic moment in basketball, but on the highlight reel of the best moments in sports. And all I could think was \u201cTHAT JUST HAPPENED!!!\u201d And \u201cOH MY GOD, I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!\u201d And \u201cOH MY GOD, I LOVE THIS CITY!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
