Steve Burton is accusing his ex-wife, Sheree Gustin, of alienating him from their 11-year-old daughter, Brooklyn, as their messy custody battle rages on<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0\u201cGeneral Hospital\u201d\u00a0star claimed that Gustin is engaging in \u201cblatant parental alienation\u201d and \u201csystematically\u201d undermining his relationship with their youngest child, according to court docs obtained by Page Six Friday.<\/p>\n

The actor also alleged that his ex has \u201cmade it impossible\u201d for him to exercise his court-ordered custody by \u201crepeatedly refus[ing]\u201d to allow his current wife, Michelle Lundstrom, to pick up Brooklyn on his behalf even though she is a \u201cconsistent parental figure\u201d in the child\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a result, Sheree\u2019s actions have created unnecessary obstacles to my ability to exercise my custodial time and maintain regular and meaningful contact with Brooklyn. Instead of supporting my relationship with our daughter, Sheree has routinely made exercising my parenting time more difficult than necessary,\u201d his complaint read.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Burton accused Gustin of refusing to \u201cacknowledge Michelle\u2019s role as [his] wife or Michelle\u2019s daughters as Brooklyn\u2019s stepsisters,\u201d despite saying that Brooklyn has a \u201cclose relationship\u201d with them.<\/p>\n

In the docs, Burton further alleged that Gustin refused to work with him on letting Brooklyn visit his home in Tennessee after he moved out of California. <\/p>\n

He claimed Gustin \u201cmanipulates\u201d him into giving up his custodial time and has been \u201cdeliberately manipulating Brooklyn into wanting to spend Christmas with her.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Gustin denied claims of \u201calienation\u201d in a response filing obtained by People<\/a>, explaining that she and her ex-husband had worked out a parenting schedule in previous litigation. <\/p>\n

She also insisted that she is happy for Brooklyn to spend time with her father, but doesn\u2019t want the 11-year-old to \u201cspend half her life traveling\u201d and be away from home for longer than three weeks.<\/p>\n

The fitness instructor argued that if Burton wants to see his daughter more than the allotted time, he can come visit her in California.<\/p>\n

Page Six reported last month that the \u201cYoung and the Restless\u201d star called out Gustin\u2019s \u201cmanipulation\u201d while they were arguing over custody proceedings.<\/p>\n

According to the soap star, the fitness instructor has refused to work with him on letting Brooklyn visit his home in Tennessee after he moved out of California. 1steveburton\/Instagram<\/p>\n

Burton submitted alleged texts from Gustin from March, in which they were arguing over visitation of Brooklyn, according to docs\u00a0obtained by TMZ.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is manipulation. You signed an order,\u201d Burton allegedly wrote in one of the texts sent to Gustin on March 14, in which they argued over their pre-teen being part of a junior lifeguards program in California.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo the response should have been hey brook your dad has you a lot in the summer.. but I know your priority is not having her spend time with us. Activities do not trump time with family.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two proceeded to go back and forth about not being \u201cwilling to work\u201d with one another.<\/p>\n

The former couple wed in 1999 and share daughter Makena, 22, and son Jack, 20, along with Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

As Page Six previously reported, Burton announced in 2022 that he was\u00a0divorcing his then-pregnant wife<\/a>, Gustin, after learning that she was carrying a child who was not his.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated,\u201d he wrote on his Instagram Story at the time. \u201cShe recently announced that she\u2019s expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine.\u201d<\/p>\n

They\u00a0finalized their divorce<\/a>\u00a0in December 2023. Two months later, Gustin\u00a0gave birth to baby No. 4. <\/p>\n

A year later, she welcomed her fifth child<\/a>. Gustin shares both kids with husband Jason Amador.<\/p>\n
