{"id":265028,"date":"2026-06-12T22:54:41","date_gmt":"2026-06-12T22:54:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/265028\/"},"modified":"2026-06-12T22:54:41","modified_gmt":"2026-06-12T22:54:41","slug":"news-12-bronx-bronx-gears-up-for-puerto-rican-day-parade-weekend-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/265028\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | Bronx Gears Up For Puerto Rican Day Parade Weekend Celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Thousands are expected to celebrate Puerto Rican culture this weekend as festivities ramp up ahead of Sunday\u2019s National Puerto Rican Day Parade in Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Across the Bronx, Puerto Rican flags are already hanging from storefronts, music is filling the streets, and local businesses are preparing for one of the busiest weekends of the year.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">\u201cI\u2019m ready to celebrate my pride,\u201d one Bronx resident said.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Saturday\u2019s celebrations will feature live music, dancing, food vendors and cultural events \u2014 all building up to Sunday\u2019s parade along Fifth Avenue.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">For many in the Bronx, the weekend is about much more than a party.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Small businesses are also preparing for an influx of visitors.
