Written in 1988 from his own childhood in the Bronx, A Bronx Tale follows Palminteri\u2019s powerful coming-of-age story after witnessing a gangland killing at just nine years old. In the original stage production, he famously portrayed 18 different characters himself\u2014bringing his neighborhood, family, friends, and rivals to life in a gripping autobiographical performance that became a cultural landmark.<\/p>\n
