Billy Crystal<\/a>‘s previously announced<\/a>\u00a0autobiographical solo show, 860,\u00a0has found a Broadway home.<\/p>\n

The solo show, directed by Scott Ellis<\/a>, will play a 14-week engagement at the Imperial Theatre (currently home to the revival of Chess<\/a>) beginning October 1 prior to an official opening October 21. Performances are currently scheduled through January 3, 2027.<\/p>\n

The comedian first brought an autobiographical solo show to Broadway with 2004’s 700 Sundays<\/a>,
\n which served as the six-time Emmy winner’s Broadway debut. Adapted from a
\n memoir, that\u00a0work centered\u00a0on his relationship with his father, who died
\nwhen Crystal was 15; the two shared 700 Sundays together. The play won
\nCrystal a Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event, and returned to
\nBroadway for an encore in 2013. <\/p>\n

860 draws its title from the address of his longtime
\nCalifornia home, which was lost to the 2025 Palisades Fire. “I am
\nthrilled to return to Broadway this fall with this challenging new
\nshow,” said\u00a0Crystal in an\u00a0 earlier\u00a0statement. “860 was the address of the home we
\nlost in the Palisades fires. We lived there for 46 years. I invite you
\nto come inside 860 and I\u2019ll tell you all the funny and touching things
\nthat happened there, not only in my career but to our family. It\u2019s a
\njoyous and heartfelt visit, about how with the love of family and
\nfriends and your inner strength, you can get through tough times. I
\nlook forward to returning to Broadway and welcoming audiences to 860.”<\/p>\n

Since the wild success of 700 Sundays, Crystal also came to Broadway with 2022’s Mr. Saturday Night<\/a>,
\n a stage musical version of his 1992 film. Crystal penned the musical’s
\nbook and reprised his screen performance as comedian Buddy Young, Jr.,
\nwith Jason Robert Brown<\/a> providing songs. The show earned Crystal his
\nsecond and third career Tony Award nominations, for both his Book and
\nLeading Performance.<\/p>\n

But it is the screen where Crystal has found his most enduring fame, starring in the 1977 series Soap and later Saturday Night Live before a string of beloved movie appearances in such titles as When Harry Met Sally…, City Slickers, and Analyze This.
\n Crystal is also a nine-time host of the Academy Awards. Along with his
\nTony Award, his accolades include six Emmy Awards and the Mark Twain
\nPrize for American Humor, along with being named a Kennedy Center
\nhonoree in 2023.<\/p>\n

The producing team is being led by Janice Crystal<\/a>, James L.
\nNederlander, Larry Magid<\/a>, and Face Productions<\/a>. Further creative team
\nmembers are to be announced.<\/p>\n
