IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters<\/p>\n<p>NYCFC has long been rumored to be <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/03\/04\/sports\/nycfc-looking-for-right-guy-in-any-transfer-window-additions\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">trying to make a splash<\/a>, as the team seeks to boost interest and excitement ahead of a <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/02\/18\/sports\/nycfc-plans-move-into-new-780-million-queens-stadium-for-summer-2027\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new stadium<\/a> expected in the 2027 season. <\/p>\n<p>La Gazzetta dello Sport alleged that AS Roma, another Serie A side, also submitted an inquiry regarding Pulisic. <\/p>\n<p>The report went on to say that Milan owner Gerry Cardinale and his right-hand man, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, have completely different ideas and want to \u201crally even closer around their star.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/07\/07\/christian-pulisic-moves-on-to-ac-milan\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pulisic joined Milan<\/a> three seasons ago and has been on a tear since, recording 31 goals and 21 assists in Serie A. <\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.44225352;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39686098\" width=\"851\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026-christian-pulisic-u-s-130769213.jpg\" alt=\"Christian Pulisic of the U.S. in his national team uniform.\" class=\"wp-image-39686098\"  \/>Christian Pulisic of the U.S. looks on during 4-1 over Paraguay to open 2026 World Cup.  IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters<\/p>\n<p>The USMNT star had one of the best performances in the World Cup to this point against Paraguay on Friday, grabbing an assist in just one half played. <\/p>\n<p>Ibrahimovic got a front row seat to the performance as he covered the game for FOX.<\/p>\n<p>The move has not been reported by anyone else and seems unlikely. Pulisic is worth \u20ac40,000 according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transfermarkt.us\/christian-pulisic\/marktwertverlauf\/spieler\/315779\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Transfermarkt<\/a>, and is at the peak of his powers.<\/p>\n<p>NYCFC\u2019s record transfer fee is $8.5 million for Nico Fern\u00e1ndez Mercau and Alexandru Mitri\u021b\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>A move to MLS at some point could happen, but the former Champions League winner with Chelsea seems poised to stay in Europe for now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Captain America could be on his way to New York.
