While the New York Knicks were dropping dimes during their NBA championship run, wealthy buyers in Brooklyn were dropping dollars on expensive homes.<\/p>\n

The borough saw 30 contracts \u2014 12 condos, one co-op, 17 single-family homes \u2014 signed last week for $126 million for homes asking at least $2 million, according to Compass\u2019 weekly contracts report. The previous week<\/a> saw 25 contracts signed for $81 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The total brings the weekly performance near the market\u2019s six-year-high, recorded when $156 million in deals<\/a> were signed between April 27 and May 3.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Homes entering contract last week had a median asking price of $3.6 million, spent an average of 77 days on the market and had an average price per square foot of $1,476.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The priciest deal last week was for a townhouse at 45 Douglass Street in Cobble Hill asking $11.5 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Developed by Hajdu Properties and designed by KGBL NYC, the 25-foot-wide home has five beds and four full bathrooms.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The parlor floor has a living room, kitchen and dining room with a balcony overlooking the backyard. The second-floor primary suite has a private terrace and separate dressing room, along with a bathroom with twin showers and a soaking tub.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The top floor has front and rear terraces and a wet bar, dishwasher and powder room. The garden floor has a built-in bookshelves, a wet bar and a guest bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Eric Hajdu\u2019s Hajdu Properties bought the property for $2.5 million in 2022, according to public records.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Douglas Elliman\u2019s Aran Scott and Anthony Robles had the listing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The second most expensive contract signed last week was for an off-market townhouse at 96 Amity Street in Brooklyn Heights asking $9.8 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The home is part of a set of townhouses known as the Polhemus Townhouses<\/a> that were developed by Fortis Property Group in 2017.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It last sold for $8.6 million in 2019, according to public records.<\/p>\n
