{"id":269672,"date":"2026-06-17T16:03:56","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T16:03:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/269672\/"},"modified":"2026-06-17T16:03:56","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T16:03:56","slug":"news-12-long-island-136","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/269672\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Long Island"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">An unknown driver is accused of causing an accident on the Bronx River Parkway and then fleeing the scene late Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The FDNY says the accident happened just before 11 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the Bronx River Parkway near Exit 7E.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Two cars were damaged in the crash: a white Lexus and a gray Volkswagen.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">A News 12 crew on the scene found the Lexus under an overpass waiting to be towed Tuesday afternoon.
