NEW YORK (WABC) — “Pride 2026: For All of Us,” WABC-TV’s annual Pride special, features a variety of stories about New York City’s LGBTQ community and beyond.<\/p>\n
This year’s show is hosted by WABC-TV’s Sam Champion, Lauren Glassberg and Kemberly Richardson. The show’s theme, “For All of Us,” aligns with the one NYC Pride chose for its 2026 events. It’s taken from a quote attributed to Stonewall veteran and trans activist, the late Marsha P. Johnson: “There is no pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.”<\/p>\n
The special airs Saturday, June 20 at 7 p.m. on Channel 7 in New York and wherever you stream the station.<\/p>\n
The show will feature a profile on T Lounge, the only bar in New York City owned and operated by trans women. This story is particularly relevant considering today’s political climate and growing anti-trans rights movement.<\/p>\n
The show will also include a profile about the New York Ramblers, the world’s first openly gay soccer club. Plus, we share an intimate profile of a gay Army veteran from Brooklyn, who was drafted at the age of 18. Charles Pisano lived in constant fear of being outed, in the military and at home. A fateful visit to the Stonewall Inn would be a turning point in Charles’ life. This story will be tied into information about the 250th anniversary of our nation and statistics about LGBTQ service members.<\/p>\n
“Pride 2026: For All of Us” will also feature a profile about a unique walking tour of historic LGBTQ sites in the West Village and a look inside The Lesbian Herstory Archives, which is home to the world’s largest collection of materials by and about lesbians and their communities.<\/p>\n
On the comedic side, we sit down with “Fulla Regrets,” a digital drag queen growing in popularity on social media. “Fulla” is an old-lady with a saucy sense of humor and wild stories to tell. The character was created by a gay man in Queens, who combines clever costumes and sharp-witted humor, with a filter that transforms him into an elderly lady.<\/p>\n
Plus, we catch up with “Dancing With the Stars” dancer, Ezra Sosa. The 25-year-old is not only a rising professional dancer, but also a choreographer and an outspoken LGBTQ advocate. Sosa will perform a special dance he’s prepared just for our show.<\/p>\n
