nofollow\">Hudson Regional Health<\/a> marked the grand opening of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carepointhealth.org\/locations-directions\/bayonne-university-hospital\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Bayonne University Hospital<\/a>\u2019s (BUH) newly renovated fourth floor, unveiling brand-new, state-of-the-art patient rooms and nursing stations.<\/p>\n<p>Patient rooms have been transformed into spacious, private spaces with personal bathrooms, while the nursing stations have been redesigned to improve communication among patients, their families and health care professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The renovations are aimed at enhancing the patient experience and quality of care.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur new fourth floor at Bayonne University Hospital represents more than just a physical transformation \u2014 it reflects our steadfast commitment to providing the highest quality care to the Bayonne community,\u201d said Chairman of the Board Yan Moshe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLocal residents can trust that they will not only receive exceptional care at Bayonne\u2019s only full-service, acute care hospital, but also benefit from a state-of-the-art facility that will enhance the patient experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The fourth-floor renovations are part of the first phase of comprehensive, multimillion-dollar infrastructure upgrades at BUH.<\/p>\n<p>Bayonne officials and hospital leadership recently cut the ribbon on the revamped lobby, featuring a modern open floor plan, an upgraded waiting area for patients, space for a community pharmacy and Starbucks Coffee, a redesigned front desk to greet visitors and a new entrance area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we assumed leadership of Bayonne University Hospital in 2024, we pledged to transform the patient experience and elevate the quality of care available to Bayonne residents,\u201d said CEO and President Dr. Nizar Kifaieh.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe opening of these new patient rooms and nursing stations represents another important milestone in our ongoing commitment to improving the patient experience for our community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new fourth-floor patient rooms and nursing stations were modernized with updated flooring, walls, amenities, advanced technology and brighter lighting to create a more welcoming and comfortable environment.<\/p>\n<p>Nursing stations serve as centralized hubs for patient care and communication, and new, modern staff offices are being remodeled, along with a new lounge for nurses and health care workers.<\/p>\n<p>Additional upgrades currently planned or under construction at BUH include:<\/p>\n<p>Renovations to the sleep lab center<br \/>\nAddition of three new operating rooms<br \/>\nUpgrades to the hospital\u2019s physical therapy spaces<br \/>\nRemodeling of the cardiac catheterization lab<br \/>\nNew physician offices and lounges<br \/>\nFacility enhancements to accommodate 15 additional behavioral health beds<br \/>\nRemodeled
