Additional casting has been revealed for\u00a0Twelve Hours with Tracy Letts,\u00a0a\u00a0daylong marathon at Circle in the Square Theatre staging five readings of the playwright’s work featuring star-studded casts. The performances will benefit the Circle in the Square Theatre School.<\/p>\n

Directors will include Mark Armstrong<\/a>, Benita de Wit, Victor Malana Maog, Jeanne Slater, and Eric Tucker<\/a>. Casting is subject to change.<\/p>\n The marathon will begin with The Minutes<\/a> at 11:05 AM, followed by\u00a0Linda Vista<\/a>\u00a0at 12:50 PM,\u00a0Killer Joe\u00a0at 3:05 PM,\u00a0and\u00a0Man From Nebraska\u00a0at 5:30 PM. Acts I and II of\u00a0August: Osage County<\/a>\u00a0will run 7:45 PM through 9:45 PM, followed by a brief intermission until Act III begins at 10 PM.<\/p>\n First performed in 2014, the 12-Hour Festival has previously spotlighted the works of Beth Henley<\/a>, John Patrick Shanley<\/a>, and Leslye Headland<\/a>; it was recently renamed for Alan Langdon, Animus company member and teacher\/director\/mentor to many in the Circle in the Square Theatre School and beyond.<\/p>\n Letts\u2019 recent Broadway production of Bug\u2014co-starring Carrie Coon<\/a> and Namir Smallwood<\/a>\u2014is nominated for four 2026 Tony Awards, including Best Leading Actress in a Play (for Coon), Scenic Design (for Takeshi Kata<\/a>), and Lighting Design (for Heather Gilbert<\/a>). Winners will be named June 7 at Radio City Music Hall.<\/p>\n Full-day passes for the upcoming marathon are $90 in advance and $100 at the door; half-day passes are $70 in advance, $75 at the door.
