Investigators said a man wearing a surgical mask entered the store, showed employees what appeared to be a black handgun and demanded $10,000. The suspect then went behind the sales counter and stole multiple pieces of jewelry valued at about $60,000 before fleeing.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Officers and detectives searching the area recovered clothing, a surgical mask believed to have been worn by the suspect and various items of stolen property near the business.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Detectives later determined the suspect used a rideshare service to travel from Bayonne to Jersey City after the robbery.
