QUEENS, New York (WABC) — More than 13,000 runners took part in the sold-out 2026 Citizens Queens 10K on Saturday morning in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.<\/p>\n

Hosted by New York Road Runners, the annual race sent participants on a 6.2-mile course through the park, passing iconic landmarks including the Unisphere and the Queens Museum.<\/p>\n

Now in its 13th year, the Citizens Queens 10K has become one of the borough’s signature running events, drawing athletes from across New York City and beyond.<\/p>\n

Nearly 1,000 children also participated in the accompanying Flushing Meadows Kids Run, which featured free races and dashes for young runners.<\/p>\n

A free post-race festival featuring live music, food trucks and family-friendly activities is continuing in Flushing Meadows Corona Park through noon. The event is open to the public.<\/p>\n

Citizens returned as the title partner of the race for the third consecutive year as part of its foundation-level partnership with New York Road Runners.<\/p>\n
