{"id":273284,"date":"2026-06-21T17:41:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-21T17:41:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/273284\/"},"modified":"2026-06-21T17:41:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-21T17:41:08","slug":"david-beckham-shares-photo-of-brooklyn-in-fathers-day-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/273284\/","title":{"rendered":"David Beckham shares photo of Brooklyn in Father\u2019s Day post"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>However, as of Sunday afternoon, Peltz Beckham had not posted a Father\u2019s Day message.<\/p>\n<p>A family rift first developed when <a class=\"ck-custom-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/fashion\/people\/nicola-peltz-revenge-wedding-dress\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">he married Nicola Peltz<\/a> in 2022, an occasion he later alleged was \u201chijacked\u201d by his mother.<\/p>\n<p>In January, he claimed his parents had been \u201ctrying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn\u2019t stopped\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The eldest Beckham child also alleged his wife had been \u201cdisrespected\u201d by his family.<\/p>\n<p>After years of <a class=\"ck-custom-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/royal-family\/2025\/05\/15\/how-the-royals-dragged-into-brooklyn-beckham-family-feud\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">simmering tensions<\/a>, Peltz Beckham said in a statement in 2026: \u201cUnfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do not want to reconcile with my family. I\u2019m not being controlled, I\u2019m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"However, as of Sunday afternoon, Peltz Beckham had not posted a Father\u2019s Day message.
