NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — On this episode of “Tiempo,” we talk to Pulitzer Prize-winning author, historian and professor Ada Ferrer.<\/p>\n
Ferrer is a Cuban American scholar who has written extensively on Cuban history. She just penned a new book, “Keeper of my Kin: Memoir of an Immigrant Daughter.”<\/p>\n
The book is a deeply personal family memoir exploring migration, silence and the guilt she felt over a half-brother who was left behind in Cuba.<\/p>\n
Ferrer is also a professor at Princeton University.<\/p>\n
