Police are investigating a reported car theft on E Fordham Road and Webster Ave in the Fordham section of The Bronx on Sunday, June 21, that resulted in two injuries they said.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Police said that at around 5.30, police approached \u00e0 vehicle that was suspected to have been stolen. They said the vehicle hit a sergeant at the scene and the vehicle occupant was shot. They said both the sergeant and the vehicle occupant were transported to hospital and are in stable condition.<\/p>\n

One person at the scene said he heard one gunshot and then saw a police officer on the ground. The area falls within the 46 Pct.<\/p>\n
