We&#8217;re wrapping up the day for you with the most important stories you need to know and your weather outlook.<\/p>\n<p>Your Weather Planner<\/p>\n<p>Behind Monday&#8217;s cold front, a few scattered lake effect rain showers will develop tonight and continue into Tuesday for areas southeast of Lake Ontario. Outside of that, Tuesday will be another windy day with some sunshine. Highs for most spots will be in the 50s, with 40s expected across the Adirondacks.<\/p>\n<p>Localized scattered lake showers will gradually taper Tuesday and quiet weather persists through Tuesday night. The food pantry did not have enough food to give out to residents, according to the Facebook post announcing the closure.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/spectrumlocalnews.com\/nys\/central-ny\/politics\/2025\/11\/03\/trump-administration-snap-partially-funded-judges\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trump administration says SNAP will be partially funded after judges\u2019 rulings<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Department of Agriculture had planned to freeze payments to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program starting Nov. 1 because it said it could no longer keep funding it due to the shutdown. The program serves about 1 in 8 Americans and is a major piece of the nation\u2019s social safety net. It costs about $8 billion per month nationally.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/spectrumlocalnews.com\/nys\/central-ny\/sports\/2025\/11\/03\/syracuse-football-reshuffles-coaching-staff-after-fifth-straight-loss-\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Syracuse football reshuffles coaching staff after fifth-straight loss<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Syracuse football is reshuffling its coaching staff. Head coach Fran Brown on Monday announced that wide receivers coach Myles White is no longer with the staff. He also said quarterback coach Nunzio Campanile will go back to coaching tight ends, while Michael Johnson will move from tight ends to coaching quarterbacks.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/spectrumlocalnews.com\/nys\/central-ny\/politics\/2025\/11\/03\/nearly-1-2-million-new-yorkers-took-voted-early-in-2025\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nearly 1.2 million New York state residents took part in early voting in 2025 general election<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A total of 1,187,545 state residents voted early between Oct. 25 and Nov. 2. The highest turnout day was the last day, on Sunday, Nov. 2 with 222,901 votes cast.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/spectrumlocalnews.com\/nys\/central-ny\/news\/2025\/11\/03\/ithaca-teachers-union-reaches-tentative-agreeement\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ithaca teachers union reaches tentative agreement with district<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The union\u2019s previous contract expired in June and teachers returned to classrooms for the start of the school year without a contract.<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/spectrumlocalnews.com\/nys\/central-ny\/sports\/2025\/11\/03\/baseball-hall-of-fame-contemporary-era-ballot-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bonds, Clemens on Baseball Hall&#8217;s Contemporary Era ballot<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Don Mattingly and Dale Murphy are on the Hall of Fame&#8217;s contemporary baseball era committee ballot. They will be joined by Carlos Delgado, Jeff Kent, Gary Sheffield and Fernando Valenzuela.
